337 I’m way into Walt Whitman

Thoreau can suck my Walden Pond. Whitman is the dude of all dudes. I’ve been a big fan of “Ode To Faggotry” for a long time. It’s become a bible in the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth sense. And Peter Nguyen is my Mister Pope Peter.

Listen little childrens: late night experimentation ALWAYS yields wonderful fruits. You may find that you’re “fucking red like an indian.”

327 We have a right to do this.
In a number of abduction incidents abductees are permitted to ask their captors questions. At such opportunities, when petitioners inquire as to why they are being studied and experimented on, the entities often retort, “we have a right to do this.”
321 Cool, ska… real cool
I never knew ska had such a great heritage of enchanting dance maneuvers. I also learned that my mock-skanking has been a gross misrepresentation for all these years; I could have been looking so much stupider. I owe an apology to all you skatellites out there.
But, goddamn, do you really have to dissect the moves so thoroughly? I mean, I know I’m an accredited body flautist, certified in exactly tens of thousands of dance moves, but I feel like even a layman, like you, the reader, can see these moves for about two seconds and have it down pat.
Be sure to watch thru to the fourth move. It’s called “rowing” because of it’s resemblance to rowing a boat. By that logic, I would just call it “wang jamming”. Consider me converted.

I just now discovered Louie Cordero. There is a Flickr gallery of a show he did. I’m really digging his monstery style. Very reminiscent of Rat Fink.
I found the link on Monster Brains, which is also worth a look. It’s got some great monster art. It’s going into my regular perusal pile.
